Delete a specific group in a Data Room.

Set removeUsers to true to also remove the group's members from the Data Room. By default, members remain in the Data Room after the group is deleted.

Permission transfer when members lose their last group

When removeUsers is false, members whose only group was the deleted one remain in the Data Room. For each such member who had no prior individual permission, the deleted group's permissions (both role and file/folder permissions) are automatically transferred to them as individual permissions so they do not lose access. Members who still belong to another group, or who already had individual permissions, keep their existing access; only the deleted group's contribution is dropped.
